Toronto, Ontario – (Sept 20, 2013) – Patrick Crowley, Chief Financial Officer of OMERS Administration Corp., has been named a Fellow of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario) for 2013.
The highest designation conferred by CPA Ontario, Fellowship is awarded for outstanding career achievements and service to the community. Ontario's Chartered Professional Accountants work in public practice, industry, academe, government and the not-for-profit sector. Only about three per cent of the province's CPAs have earned the FCA designation.

He has a gift for teaching younger team members the value of hard work, high standards and teamwork. Mr. Crowley joined OMERS in December 2006, where in addition to CFO he serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer. His responsibilities include financial reporting, planning and analysis, information technology, risk management and strategic direction setting. His expertise, vision and integrity are of great benefit to the organization.
Prior to joining OMERS, Mr. Crowley held the CFO role at organizations including ATI Technologies Inc., Canada Life Financial Corporation, Molson Inc., and Abitibi Consolidated Inc. He is a graduate of the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University.
In addition to his professional achievements Mr. Crowley has been consistently involved in the wider community as a volunteer and supporter of his church, and various charities and educational institutions.
